Another well-known TV show is ending, and we absolutely hate the fact that it has to be The Walking Dead. The dystopian ghastliness series is ending, with the final season set to air on AMC on August 22, 2021. This begs the question of when Season 11 of The Walking Dead will become available on Netflix. The Walking Dead has had an incredible run, and fans will remember this television show for the rest of their lives.


Overall, the zombie show debuted at a time when supernatural dream shows and films seemed to be at their peak. Fortunately, unlike a few other shows in its genre, The Walking Dead did not go off the air.


The cast has changed over the seasons, but specific roles have stood out. According to Entertainment Weekly, season 11 of The Walking Dead will have 24 episodes, and filming will continue until 2022. Season 11 will release in three parts, each with eight episodes. Following the cancellation of Covid, AMC ordered six more episodes.


The Walking Dead usually airs the most recent season before the following, and since this is the final season, that won't be the case this time. The Netflix release is highly dubious because this season still has eight episodes left to air later this year. 


If the third set of season 11 is there in  August 2022, Netflix subscribers could watch season 11 by the end of 2022, but more likely, not until 2023. Three months after the season finale aired on AMC and just over a month before the start of season 11, season 10 was made available.


The Walking Dead seasons 1 through 10 and countless other films and television programs with Walking Dead actors are currently available to stream on Netflix.


The zombie trend is still popular today. Zombies and what they would do to survive in a zombie apocalypse or any other terrible situation have long captivated human curiosity. This genre of film and television is so popular because of the audience's inherent interest in the subject. Possibly the most well-known television program in this genre is The Walking Dead, which premiered on October 31st, 2010. In the show, a group of zombie apocalypse survivors fights to survive as "walker" zombies attack them.
